Looking At Current State of Franchise
My two best buds and I run a sports pod called Not Your Weekly Sports Talk where we dive into all things Houston Sports, and this week we did a fairly depressing episode on the Houston Texans. Mostly we discuss the state of the receiver position, Deshaun Watson's development since the departure of BOB, the lasting impact of BOB the GM on this team's future, and reminiscing on past moves that could have netted us a SuperBowl.
Personally, I'll never forget passing on Peyton Manning right before Schaub's historic collapse post-tommy john surgery. I also think it's fair to call Watson a top 5 talent with everything he's done despite the O-Line and receiving corp. Take a listen for much more, and please let me know what you think. I love constructive criticism, as we are relatively new and looking to always improve.
