Longtime New Orleans restaurant to open in high-profile Montrose location

Acme Oyster House, a New Orleans-based seafood restaurant that dates back to 1910, will make its Houston debut in the former El Real Tex-Mex spot in Montrose, according to multiple reports.

Grant Walker with Lee & Associates represented Acme Oyster House in securing the location, according to Eater, which first reported the news. The restaurant could open as early as this fall, according to CultureMap, but all reports note that the timing is still uncertain due to the coronavirus pandemic.
