Longtime Houston restaurateur Bill Floyd to open Real Agave tequila lounge downtown

Real Agave, a new tequila lounge concept, will open in downtown Houston on Sept. 14, according to a press release.

Longtime Houston restaurateur Bill Floyd created the concept, which is on the ground floor of 1100 Louisiana, a 55-story tower managed by Houston-based Hines. Real Agave and its sister concept in the tunnel system are inspired by — but not iterations of — the former El Real Tex-Mex restaurant in Montrose.
