Local Foods Market pushes back opening due to winter storm
Local Foods Market will open Feb. 26, 10 days after it was originally scheduled to debut on Feb. 16.
The initial date coincided with the winter storm, which knocked out power at Local Foods Market and owner Benjy Levit’s other concepts. Due to food spoiling during the power outage, a delayed opening was necessary to resupply and remake certain items, such as a Kobe beef pastrami that takes six days to make.
