Local Foods employee to open own Memorial City-area restaurant

Kerry Pauly admits that he’s burning the candle on both ends. 

The longtime employee — his role is similar to a director of operations — at several of Benjy Levit’s restaurants is still working at Local Foods as he tries to get his first restaurant, KP’s Kitchen, up and running. That means a lot of checking in on the new restaurant in the morning, going to work with Levit during the day and coming back to find new details added to KP’s during the evening.
