Living in houston

Hi I've recently got a job offer to move from Ireland to texas. The offer is for 80k, would this be liveable on and would it be fairly comfortable. My wife would be homeschooling my two kids so no childcare would be needed. My work let's me work remotely three days a week and come into the office the other two. I'm just wondering if the wage of 80k would be able to give me the following: Mortgage for a family of four Internet, (essential for my work) And all other essential utilities and bills.

Sorry for the long post but I am not sure on the Financial needs in texas (specifically Houston), any help would be greatly appreciated.
