Livable Places Action Committee Meeting – Overall Housing Recommendations – Alief

Starting tonight, the Planning and Development Department is hosting a series of four public meetings in April to discuss the housing recommendations resulting from more than two years of research, Livable Places Action Committee’s (LPAC) discussions, and public engagement. Join us in person tonight at 5:30 at the Alief Neighborhood Center, Room 1302, 11903 Bellaire Blvd.

If you can't make it tonight, there are three other opportunities to join. These meetings will provide detailed information on the proposed housing recommendations, which if approved, will require amendments to Chapter 42 of the Code of Ordinances.

This is your opportunity to ask questions and tell us what you think. You can also review the proposed ordinance amendments and share your feedback online during the public comment period open until April 27.
