LIST OF TEXAS LAWYERS OFFERING PRO-BONO LEGAL REPRESENTATION FOR PROTESTERS

Hey Ya’ll, this post is for anyone who has been arrested or needs a lawyer as a result of the protests (here in Houston especially, but elsewhere too). While l’m a civil trial lawyer and don’t praxtice criminal defense, I wanted to share a resource I came across today from a FB group I am in — a list of Texas Lawyers’ contact informstion who are offering pro bono (free) legal representation to protesters who were arrested and/or attacked or assaulted by police.

The attorney who shared it commented: “There are many ways a civil attorney can help. Refer to someone on one of the lists going around. This list has over 60 Texas lawyers taking cases probono and it’s just 1 list that’s floating around social media.“
