Lineman safety updates

Yesterday a man stood in the middle of the highway with a metal pipe and smashed the mirrors of the lineman’s trucks as they drove by.

Last night a lineman stepped out of his hotel room to smoke a cigarette and did not return. He was later found with a broken jaw and significant head trauma. He is in the ICU in critical condition with brain swelling. His wife is 8 months pregnant.

This is on top of a bomb threat, an active shooter threat, and one lineman having a gun pulled on him.

This is by far the most aggression I have seen on a storm call. Please, watch out for them. Just keep an eye out. These men are strangers to you, but they have families at home that love them, and we are beyond scared for them at this point. Idk what you guys can do but please just watch over them, bc we can’t be there to do it ourselves.
