Legally blind; feel unsafe in new apartment area; need to break lease. Please help.

I’m legally blind and have moved into a neighborhood where I personally don’t feel very safe, even with my service dog. Living here is giving me tremendous anxiety, and I wish I could move back to my older neighborhood that was much safer in retrospect. How, if at all, can I break my present lease with the least repercussions? Thank you for the advice.
