Lefty’s Famous Cheesesteaks, Hoagies & Grill is pushing outside Michigan for the first time and into Texas. Founder and President Sam Berry wants 150 locations in Texas, starting in Houston.

The recent opening of Lefty’s first local restaurant made headlines in large part because of the company’s partnership with Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. A call to Watson’s agents turned into a meeting, which turned into Watson flying out to Michigan and trying the food.
