Lee C’s Tamales near Downtown Houston 1960’s

I don't know if that's the correct spelling, but these were the best ever tamales. Does the name ring a bell? I've tried dozens of dozen tamales to find a suitable substitute, none really come close. I'd love to get my hands on them again, they were so good.
