Learning French for travel?
I've got a friend group trip to Europe this fall that includes a few days in France. I'd like to resurrect my middle-school French well enough to say hello, ask for directions, or order food. Any suggestions on effective French classes that will get me there?
Evening classes or weekend ones will work. I expect in-person classes to be better, but I'm open to online if there's a good one – not sure DuoLingo is getting me there. I'm in Sugar Land and could travel to Midtown, West U, etc. for a class.
