Lawyer/Attorney suggestion?

Hi Reddit,

I’m recently getting invoiced for a ton of work that I never agreed to by a mechanic on a restoration car. Basically I agreed only to a few things and a few months went by with no updates after multiple attempts, and now he’s saying the job is complete and the invoice is over double the amount we agreed upon plus all this work I never agreed to.

Can anyone recommend what options I have here? Or if I should get a lawyer/attorney?
