Late drivers safety course. Still valid w/ additional fine?

I had an accident in May, car totaled, was eligible for drivers safety and finished it before due date assigned by court but due to some personal issues, it kinda went on the back burner and never got submitted. Insurance for my new car is sky high rn. If I still have all the paperwork and just submit it late, will they still accept it maybe with an additional late fee?
