Landlord wants to keep deposit and charge me $400 for carpet cleaning

I left our apartment in good shape. I have photos to prove it.

We lived in the apartment for roughly 2 years – Does anyone have advice?

Another thing to note is I moved out of state from TX to NC – So if this needs to go to small claims I'm not sure what to do.
