Landlord help?

so first time mover here i just signed a lease 1bed 1bath and when i was moving in today i noticed a funky rotten egg smell coming from the faucet water anytime i turn the faucet on. this problem occurrs in both bathroom and kitchen faucets.

does my landlord have to fix this? im in a quadplex… im not sure but im worried i will be stuck with stinky poo poo smelling water for a year.

also not 100% sure it isn’t a gas leak coming through the faucet…
