Lamar CISD will allow homeschool student to participate in athletics, while Katy ISD opts out

Katy ISD trustees voted 4-3 to opt out of the program on July 28, while Lamar CISD trustees voted unanimously June 17 to opt in, limiting the offerings to athletic extracurriculars for homeschoolers who are residentially zoned to the district.
