Lake Livingston camping

Merry Christmas! My wife surprised me with a two night stay in a shelter at Lake Livingston state park. I’ve gone camping my whole life growing up, but my wife is completely new to it, so I don’t think we will want a “high impact” trip. We also have a 22-month old boy.

Any recommendations for us to check out while we’re there?
