LA Fitness versus other gyms

What is going on with LA Fitness, joined in summer and things were going well in Gessener location until now.

Recently, started noticing homeless people in the locker room lying on the bench asleep or washing clothes and drying sauna. Another time, a woman had her things spread out on bench eating.

The last two weeks pool and jacuzzi is closed due to failed state inspection. Same issue with LA on 290.

What decent gyms with classes, machines and amenities with amenities have you found within 20 minutes of 290 west and Beltway 8?
