Kroger on Studemont must be stopped.
The Kroger on Studemont must stop serving rotten food. Like great citizens of this City, my girlfriend and I took advantage of curbside pickup at Kroger during this pandemic. The first order (March 27th) we had rotten broccoli in the package. Usually not a big deal, seems like it was a one time thing.
Cut to the next order (April 9) We get the smelliest, most disgusting potatoes in the world and pickles 6 months past their sell by date.
Cut to this latest order on April 30. Almost everything is rotten as far as produce goes. Rotten arugula, rotten snap peas, rotten onions, potatoes that have been sprouted, and rotten kiwi. The only thing that is good? Kale.
Since we are trying to keep social distance in these times we do not inspect our groceries when they are put into our car. We are usually forgiving people and we realize that Kroger is stretched a little thin, but this is completely awful and unprofessional. They have given us credit for most of the rotten orders, but they really need to get their quality control in order. I have been in and out of their guest services 2 times now, not able to keep social distance. I would encourage everyone to avoid this particular Kroger and shop at H-E-B or Whole Foods for the rest of the pandemic.
We are all stressed, and the last thing we want is to be stressed about is what we are putting in our bodies. Stay safe out there, drink beer, and check your groceries.
