Korean barbecue joint from local franchise owners opens in Chinatown
Handam BBQ, an original Korean barbecue restaurant from co-owners David Lee and Jae Kwon, as well as chef Byung Oh, has opened in Chinatown.
The 4,500-square-foot restaurant has an occupancy of 145, Kwon told the Houston Business Journal, and he’s hired roughly 40 to 50 employees. The space has a patio for people to wait on and enjoy drinks and small bites.
