Know where we’re at as a team

As we near the 2nd/3rd rounds tonight I want to talk about managing expectations and realizing where the roster is at right now. I’ve seen some “experts” mock Kellen Mond or Kyle Trask or Davis Mills to us at 67 overall and I feel like it’s my moral duty to let people know that none of those players should be the pick. Now, we’re talking about the 67th overall pick so I can understand if you don’t care at all. If you do care, know that the Texans roster is not going to help any QB, especially not a rookie. The worst possible scenario for Houston tonight is taking a QB and the next worst would be running back. The best case scenario is trading back and adding picks (ideally for next year). The next best scenario is we end up grabbing a player at any position other than QB, RB. This is by FAR the worst roster in the league and we should be hoping for an 0-17 season so Caserio can start this rebuild with whoever comes out as QB1 in the 2022 Draft.
