KitchenAid Mixer repair/rewiring?

I recently won a 6 qt kitchenaid mixer in an auction that is not functioning. I messed around with it for awhile and have determined that it most likely just needs to be rewired. Does anyone know someone who can do this locally? Ive googled and haven't found anything and want to avoiding sending it off if possible.
