Kingwood to Clear Lake commute – doable?

Work in Clear Lake currently with short commute (15min), but not liking the houses around the area that are in my price range and zoned to schools I want for my kids. But, I’m really liking the Kingwood area. Anyone do Kingwood to Clear Lake commute and have insight on if it’s doable/worth it?
