Kinder Morgan names COO, reports net loss due to $1B impairment

Houston-based midstream giant Kinder Morgan Inc. (NYSE: KMI) has promoted an executive to its C-suite.

James Holland, previously president of the company’s Products Pipelines business segment since July 2017, is now COO, according to Kinder Morgan’s second-quarter earnings report released July 22. Dax Sanders, previously executive vice president and chief strategy officer, replaces Holland as Products Pipelines president. The press release does not mention a successor for Sanders.
