Kimmeridge Energy Management withdraws SilverBow merger proposal, focuses on board seats

Investment firm Kimmeridge Energy Management Company LLC has withdrawn its proposal to merge Houston-based SilverBow Resources Inc. (NYSE: SBOW) with its Kimmeridge Texas Gas assets, but the investor has nominated three independent directors to the board to compete with the company’s picks at the annual shareholder meeting.
