Kim Son Downtown vs. Kim Son Bellaire

It has recently come to my attention that Kim Son Downtown is being nuked to make space for the I-45 expansion project. As a new resident of Houston, I want to experience a piece of history and I also like Vietnamese cuisine in general.

However, I also just found out that there is a second location in Bellaire! So to save some time pressure on myself to make a visit this weekend, these are my questions those who have been to both:

1. Are there any differences in offerings between Downtown and Bellaire?
2. When and where is peking duck served? Is it buffet or is it menu service only? Both locations?
3. I’ve heard that the Downtown location has been struggling recently. Is the Bellaire quality better?
