Killens BBQ has gone way downhill

I went to Killens today after having not been for maybe 3 years since I don’t like driving all the way out there. Last time I went it was a world class bbq place but it has lost a lot in the past while. Brisket was bland and crust that just tasted like black pepper. Pork ribs were dry. Disappointing experience. Anyone else have the same thought?

Pinkertons, Truth, and Pit Room all reign as being the best of Houston for me now.
