Kemah Boat Parade

I’m taking my 3 year old to catch the boat parade. The Boardwalk sounds like it’s gonna be a bit crazy, honestly. Especially for a dad and his daughter. Can anyone give recommendations on other areas to catch a good view of the boat parade?
