Kayaking on White Oak Bayou

Does anyone know if you can / would want to kayak the white oak bayou near Studewood park? Everything I search for is for Buffalo Bayou. I was hoping I could shove off around Studewood and link up with Buffalo around downtown so I can avoid the parking & crowds constraints around the Buffalo Bayou hot spots.
