Katz Coffee focuses on boosting community morale

At the beginning of the pandemic, Houston’s Katz Coffee saw its sales bottom out. Instead of standing by quietly, owner Avi Katz focused on using his product to boost community morale. Katz Coffee has long been known for its community involvement and its Cause Coffees. Not only did Katz donate pounds of coffee to first responders, he also introduced “Freebie Fridays” to the public, which provided free food and coffee to a certain number of customers.
