Just Moved. Need Provider for Medication (Adderall+). Help?

I just moved to Houston a few weeks ago. I’m a flight attendant and finally have time off since the Holiday rush is over.

I am seeking an Urgent Care/Provider that can provide me with my medication management until I can see a Psychiatrist and PCP. Currently have an appointment for March!

I’ve been on these medications for almost a decade and with the move plus my career it’s seriously needed.

Unfortunately, the stigma (even for those with documented proof of having been on these medications for years and proof that they have actually moved…seems like you can’t even move due to Providers not providing care or holding up the oath they took “Duty to do no harm”) we face due to providers worried about their license as if it will be revoked ( by doing due diligence like looking at PMP and verifying they have been on the medication, there is absolutely no way they’d get in trouble.) instead of providing the care a Provider should give and not turning people away ( they willingly chose to enter this profession and had no problem years ago taking our money) we are simply treated as some “seeker”. Last I checked I never had any issues with my health due to these medications and as an American I have Patient Autonomy.

Anyway…anyone know some where I can get a bridge script until I can see a new provider (the wait lists are INSANE). If it’s a Psych or MD/PCP I don’t mind going there either.

Looking for a relatively soon appt. Can be an Urgent Care Center, Clinic, Medical Group, DR, etc.
