Jury duty… rescheduled?

I have (had?) jury duty today.

Show up just after noon downtown. OK, cool. I'm doing my work in the morning, am just about ready to get ready to get dressed like a grown adult and head down there.

I just got an email rescheduling my service for 2 weeks from today.

Really guys? I have a super flexible job and this is absolutely no skin off my back. But there are a lot of people for whom this would be a huge inconvenience. Take off work, not get paid, just to get told, "Sorry, come back in 2 weeks?"

Piss off.
