June visit from Sweden

I happen to be in the Houston area during the summer for the first time this year. I would've preferred April weather but June is the only option.

As a White Sox fan, I would like to to catch the June 12th game, possibly with the wife and kids (depending on if they are tired of baseball at that point, after a weekend visit in Chicago).

Do I get tickets far ahead of time? They play the Rangers the next day so I assume it will be a day game.

Where would you suggest I park? How far ahead should I be there?

I will probably be wearing some kind of White Sox, but not worried about being laughed at. I hate my team more than opposing fans so there's probably a good chance of sympathy laughter rather than any hate.

Anything else I should keep in mind?
