June 19 data: Confirmed COVID-19 cases grow by 59 day over day in Katy area

Fort Bend County’s Community Impact Dashboard notes that the county has experienced a large number of new cases recently, and the county is examining why there has been such an increase.

[KHOU 11] Harris County "requiring all county businesses to ensure employees and customers wear face coverings." Order goes into effect June 22. Applies to everyone 10 years and older. Businesses may refuse service to customers who don’t wear masks. Businesses who don’t comply face up to $1000 fine
