Judge acquits final Arkema defendants charged over plant emissions during Hurricane Harvey

All of the defendants facing criminal charges related to emissions released at Arkema’s Crosby plant during Hurricane Harvey have been acquitted.

Harris County Judge Belinda Hill issued a directed verdict on Oct. 1 acquitting both the company itself and its Crosby plant manager, Leslie Comardelle, of the reckless emission charges, according to the Houston Chronicle.
