JSC Intern Houston

I'm going to be interning at JSC over the Summer and I'm looking at places to live. I'm still working on getting a car, so I want to live as close to the center as possible since I may not have one before I start. Anyone who works there or lives in the area have any advice for finding short-term leases under 8/900 a month?
