JP France has been the unsung hero of the season.

On offense Julks’ recent emergence and Dubon overall fill that role on offense.

But France especially has saved our pen and overall pre ASB. Even if he does bad going forward, that doesn’t change what he has done for us recently.

He did exactly what a certain bitch did for us a few years ago in 2018. I remember around June of that season, our starting staff was decimated with injuries (short term). But said bitch stepped up with a dominant June that gave our bullpen a lot of breathing room.

France has done just that for us and probably won’t be a bitch like that he aforementioned player.

And I had almost no expectations for him as a prospect since I wasn’t really impressed with his repertoire combined with awful walk rate. I predicted long relief option, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up being a starter long term of Urquidy caliber.

France usually matches the kind of prospects who turn out to be good for us. He was a boring prospect like Chas and several others at the time of call up. And then ended up being valuable contributors and a backup CF
