Josh James Gang, Assemble!!!

I know, I know, I get a little nervous whenever he’s on the bump too, but the dude is only 27, and his only full year was 2019 with 100 Ks, with a 1.32 WHIP, a smidge below the league average of 1.35-1.39. Granted, he walked 35 over 61.1 innings.

Here is a post-2019 season autopsy that the Crawfish Boxes did, so make of that what you will.

To make a muddy situation even more murky, the dude will be out until mid-late summer with his knee injury. So we’ll be waiting another year to see a full years worth of production from him, should he make it through 2021.

AFAIK he has all his options remaining on his contract.

So, what does the future hold for Josh Flames?
