The Smokehouse Creek Fire broke out on February 26, 2024 and blazed through the Texas Panhandle for nearly three weeks. It now ranks as the second largest wildfire in U.S. history and the largest in Lone Star State history. Over a million acres were consumed, and it has been reported that dozens of human lives and thousands of animals have been lost, as well as hundreds of homes and structures. But the true burden of this devastation is incalculable.

The Texas Panhandle is home to most of the state’s cattle, and the region’s ranching history and way of life are pillars of our Western heritage. It will take a long time and a lot of support for ranchers and communities to rebuild.

Together we can help heal and revive the Texas Panhandle.

Teton Ridge proudly supports the emergency services personnel and our Western community affected by these catastrophic fires. Funds raised here will be donated to the Working Ranch Cowboys Association Foundation, Canadian FFA, and Cowboy Patriots Crisis Relief — all deserving organizations working hard to help the livestock and people in need.
