Job opportunities for older (55+) adults?

Would love some advice–soon to be empty nest, have been out of the workforce (regularly) for years, have graduate degrees in humanities…but am now finding employment opportunities very hard to come by. Have tons of organizational/multitasking/editing skills, but really need to do something with my time and earn a little money if possible. Any ideas on where to start? I'm older, and a bit worried about that–I think age-ism might be a thing. Thank you!
