JetBlue still wants to stop flying to Houston’s IAH, several other U.S. airports
JetBlue Airways Corp. said it wants to stop flying to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and 15 other major U.S. airports because the Covid-19 crisis has emptied its airplanes, with some flights having as few as two passengers.
“Approval will allow JetBlue to help preserve financial liquidity and minimize operational and safety risks while the coronavirus pandemic remains epicentered in New York City,” the airline said in a filing with the U.S. Department of Transportation.
