James Beard-nominated chef to close Houston restaurant in 2021
Chef Jonathan “Jonny” Rhodes announced on Instagram June 22 that he is permanently closing his acclaimed neo-soul food restaurant, Indigo, next year.
The restaurant, located at 517 Berry Road, will reopen its doors for business for the last time on July 23 and remain open for one year. Indigo was originally supposed to remain closed until September, which is not unusual for the nationally acclaimed restaurant.
