I’ve been summoned for jury

Any tips or things I should know. I have not the slightest clue on what it even means to be summoned for jury. I did a quick google search and looks like it’s mandatory since its basically court ordered. I would much rather not deal with this as someone who is clueless to courts, laws, etc. Any insight or advice? 🙁
