It’s official: Rice University moving to American Athletic Conference

The American Athletic Conference board of directors and Commissioner Mike Aresco have approved adding Rice University to its membership ranks.

Rice is one of six institutions in Conference USA that will make the move to the AAC. The invitations were extended Oct. 21, and Rice confirmed it has accepted.
