Its amazing how people drive in downtown

I don't know if it is the one-way streets that completely throw people off, or if it is just people that don't come downtown often and they don't know where they are going, but I expect it is a little from column A and a lot of column B.

I constantly see people try to make turns going the wrong way down a street, or turn across lanes at the last second. On my way out for lunch I saw someone make a left turn from the far right lane, in front of multiple cars that were in those lanes. On the way back in I saw an accident happen when someone ran a red light. I had just seen that person make a last minute turn onto the road we were on, so I know they were struggling to figure out where they were going.

Its nuts, and the traffic isn't that bad compared to pre-pandemic.
