It’s a Louisiana Thing…in Houston!
What a great show we had on Houston City Beat’s Foodie Life!
A huge thank you goes out to Chef Vaugh for bringing over his AMAZING DELICOUS chef mastered dishes. Watch the show to find out about Louisiana culinary history, everything you ever wanted to know about Gumbo, and so much more!
Chef Vaugh brought his Nola Gotham Tea Biscuits. There are no words to describe how spectacular these biscuits are. Let’s not even go into detail about those Pralines. It’s safe to say those are the biggest pralines this side of the Mississippi! We absolutely LOVED the gumbo…even the shrimp melted in your mouth – that’s how tender and lovingly it was prepared.
We simply can’t wait for Chef Vaughn to roll out his next projects in Houston – culinary taste explosion on food truck wheels and his dinner parties. You can find Chef on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/MereViolas and on the web at https://www.mereviolas.com/.
I predict there will be a very long line following that food truck…you will see my car at the front of that line ordering those orange cranberry biscuits…and the lemon biscuits…and the gumbo…can’t forget the pralines….to be honest with you, whatever Chef Vaughn prepares is absolutely perfectly wonderful!
Bon Appetit!
Thank Ya!
