It may be time to sell high on Chas McCormick

Starting off I love what kind of player Chas has turned himself into. From 21st rounder to .900+ ops is simply incredible.

Although the success has been amazing to witness, I think it’s time we shop him as the headlining piece in a blockbuster deal.

I believe we could pry away cease and Robert from the white Sox for a package that looks something like this.

McCormick (3 1/2 years of team control)

Julks (5 1/2 years of team control)

Brown (4 1/2 years of team control)

Pedro Leon

Drew Gilbert

Spencer Areighetti

That gives the Sox 3 major league caliber guys to instantly plug in and 3 well-touted prospects to stash away for their subsequent rebuild.

We may possibly have to include Luis Garcia in this deal, but if he’s the final piece the white Sox want, so be it.

If the white Sox are willing, you do this deal. Our window is closing and nothing is guaranteed past the 2024 season as of right now. Making this trade extends our championship window through at least 2025.
