Issues contacting Harris county district clerk??

I have emailed six or seven people in their office, none of which have responded. I have called at least 5 different phone numbers I found on the website, and most of them either ring endlessly, or they come to a prompt that says “this person has a voicemail box that has not been set up yet.”

Anyone have any tips that might work? I can’t just go there I am in California. Please, I am desperate.

Specifically I’m trying to reach the 311th court to find out what the next steps on a case are.

Edit: I should mention I’ve been trying to reach them for WEEKS.
